“Sustainability - We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and are committed to sustainable action. We strive to use resources efficiently and minimize our ecological footprint.” (Excerpt from the Code of Conduct 2024)

Trenkwalder sees it as its duty and obligation to play a positive role in shaping society and to assume both social and societal responsibility. The aim is to play a pioneering role towards customers, employees and applicants and to set a good example.

Sustainability is the core element of our actions and an integral part of our strategy. Sustainability extends from the actions of every employee to the way in which projects are carried out. This also includes topics as occupational safety, quality management, environmental and energy management, compliance and business conduct, right through to our cooperation with interest groups.

Our employees at Trenkwalder consider environmental protection issues in all their activities and use energy and resources consiously, are trained in this and become prudent partners when it comes to sustainability.

Trenkwalder's sustainable environmental management is DIN EN ISO 14001 (Dekra) certified. The core idea of DIN EN ISO 14001 is the promotion of environmental protection, the reduction of environmental impacts and thus the correct implementation of operational environmental goals.

Hence, Trenkwalder participates in environmental projects such as Plant-for-the-Planet. With this cooperation we support the protection, renaturation and reforestation of Mexico's tropical forests.
